While it all looks simple on Pinterest boards (i.e. because no one puts a dollar amount in the picture of your dream vision you saw on social media), staging successful and fulfilling events is an art form. Angie has a combined experience in social and corporate planning of over 15 years of experience and you can trust her and her team to manage the details.

“I founded Velour Events in 2017 because I have a huge passion for bringing a creative process to life and helping people find joy in their lives. I’ve been planning events across the United States for more than 15 years, beginning my career as a corporate event planner for Mitsubishi Corporation after I graduated from the University of Maryland University College.
I noticed early on that when I met with someone to plan an event, usually the first words out of their mouth were, “I’m so stressed! This is a lot!” Planning an event can feel overwhelming and those words are heartbreaking for me to hear. My intent is to take away that anxiety and make the process of designing and planning your special event fun, relaxed and intentional. At Velour, we call our event planners “Visioneers” because it’s our job to get to know each client as an individual, get to know your style and preferences, and create a beautiful flawless, unique event that ecompasses their vision. The end result is a special and unforgettable memory in people’s lives.
Something you may not know about me: I’m also a singer, and I’ve been known to rock a stage or two.”
