Velour Premier Events was founded on the belief that an event, no matter how large or small, signifies a major historical milestone and deserves Authentic Planning and the Utmost attention to detail. We live in an age of Pinterest Boards and DIYs that were made to look easy but have gone terribly wrong (i.e. you've somehow super glued yourself to your centerpiece!) and of course we cannot forget the all-telling, flood of social media pictorials and snap chat updates that will ensue. Whether it's a Grand Opening, Album Release, Wedding or Gala; each event requires precise execution. Velour aims to put a creative design to your vision and make the event of your dreams come to life. We also want our clients to enjoy the planning of it all without the stress. So go ahead and dream away fellow Visionistas, and Trust us to handle every aspect of the design, planning and execution of your event.
Owner & Director of Events
Hi! I'm Angie, I love designing, singing, coffee and married life. I'm also a huge wine fanatic - red, white, I love it all! I have a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Maryland University College. I've been planning events for several years and started out as a corporate event planner for Mitsubishi Corporation. I've traveled nationwide and have planned events in Las Vegas and Scottsdale to Orlando and many cities in between. I started this company because I have a huge passion for helping others and I love the process of bringing a creative vision to life. When I first meet with clients, usually the first words out of their mouths are "I"m so stressed!." This is heartbreaking! I want to take the "stress" out of event planning and designing and make it fun, relaxed and intentional. You should be excited about your special event, not filled with anxiety. This is why having a planner (or Visioneer, as we like to call them) is so crucial. My favorite part of planning events is getting to know my clients and their style and creating a design that encompasses their vision (not mine). Each event is unique and different and tells a different story.
Kelley Willcox, Events Manager
Hi! I’m Kelley. I’m a dreamer, a pursuer, a visionary and forever a Texan at heart. I graduated from Texas A&M University and have always had a divine passion for creativity and design. However, it wasn’t until after college that I truly discovered my immense love for travel, culture, adventure and people. I spent 11 months traveling overseas to various countries for mission work, and then another 6 months living in Mijas, Spain as an intern at G42 Leadership Academy. My heart thrives in environments where I can serve others, join them in achieving their passions and dreams, all while pursuing my own. My favorite thing about Velour is the mission behind what we do. Our why. At Velour we are about People. Relationships. Connections. Turning a client’s vision into something they can touch and feel. There is passion behind what we do, and why we do it. And that is what I love most!
